Sean Croghan

A unique combination of people skills, technical knowledge and problem-solving prowess, Sean Croghan is the owner and driving force behind XAG Solutions. From a young age, Sean was always interested in the mechanics of how things worked, and in the early 90's, translated that into a successful career in information technology. He was an early adopter of Apple technology, and when a niche opened up in Portland for a company to support Mac business users, Sean joined on the ground floor. This early experience gave him invaluable familiarity with management, operations, client relations and of course, technical support. In 2011, he gathered the knowledge and skills he'd developed, and used them to start XAG Solutions. Sean loves that he gets to work with an amazing group of focused problem-solvers and partners with so many clients.

In 2019 Sean was asked to take on the role of NOC Team Lead for the Internet Engineering Task Force. IETF is the premier standards body for the internet and the NOC team is responsible for creating and managing a consistently capable, resilient network at locations all over the world.

In his spare time, Sean likes to stay busy, and enjoys, white water rafting, Theme Parks (Disney) and travel.
